Scale across the Multiverse.
MultiversX is a highly scalable, secure, and decentralized blockchain network powering next-gen applications for the metaverse and beyond. It’s time to build!
MultiversX, the EGLD network, is a distributed blockchain network decentralized via 3,000+ nodes, scalable through sharding, fast, secure & green.
Every crypto branding brief comes with words like disruptive, transformative, unique, and insanely powerful—but few live up to the hype like Elrond (RO). They needed a new name and branding system that reflected the ecosystem’s growing complexity and unified its merging products, including the Utrust crypto payments platform, previously rebranded by Büro and now rebranded a second time as ×Money.
Enter MultiversX: the multiverse to the power of X, unlocking the Metaverse of tomorrow, today.
MultiversX is a scalable, secure, decentralized blockchain built for radically new applications across users, businesses, and society, and for the new metaverse frontier. Let's call it M× for this point onwards.
The brand ecosystem spans seven ×Products, each with its color realm for clarity, all unified under a versatile design system built for scale. A powerful digital rebranding and design system for a much more powerful new era of digital worlds at your reach.
Built as comprehensive brand foundations for the M× design team to embrace and evolve, this rebranding was unveiled with a big bang at ×Day 2022 in Paris, complete with misplaced merchandise, a few calls to la Police Nationale, and a last-minute rented van pick-up traffic extravaganza. Its impact endures, standing out as one of the few crypto brands that values design as much as its product.

Naming & Rebranding
It all began with brainstorming sessions for a new name, which took time to get right. From exploring physical forces and cosmic terminology to drawing on mythology and coining new words, we ultimately arrived at "Multivers," elevated to the power of X—well before Elon transformed Twitter into the X brand, mind you. Oh dear, there’s quite a bit of “X” going on around here!
With an exponent X at the end of the name and at the beginning of its products, it encapsulates the exponential power of the MultiversX sub-brand ecosystem while providing a flexible naming foundation for both current and future products. The X symbol needed to be distinctive and fresh—a monumental task for a glyph that has been overused—while also being resilient enough to function as an exponent—smaller and elevated—yet perfectly balanced for standalone use.
The typography consists of three font families: Displaay Type Foundry’s Roobert, Commercial Type’s Styrene A, and Google Fonts’ Inter. Roobert is used across all MultiversX brand applications, Styrene A is reserved for brand and sub-brand wordmarks, and Inter is utilized for dashboards and apps.
The color palette is vibrant and distinctive, with specific colors assigned to each sub-brand. The core color combination remains M×Mint, black, and white, serving as the primary focal point for the brand.

Design System
The second marathon was to expand the branding into a robust design system capable of supporting product UI/UX, social media collateral, and even the ×Day event keynotes.
We delivered a versatile, scalable visual foundation emphasizing consistency and flexibility, enhancing brand recognition and user experience across all current and future products.
The M× design system aims to accelerate workflows with reusable components and guidelines, adapt easily to new products and updates without compromising quality, foster collaboration through consistent design guidelines, and enhance usability and accessibility for all users while reinforcing brand identity with cohesive visual elements. Crying. Obvi.
The M× team, alongside Baobab Studio, has done a stellar job expanding it into new visual worlds under Mr. Movilă’s creative guidance—though we’re still waiting on that post-flight debrief beer. C’mon, guys, it’s on us!
Website
If you’re still with us, we’ve come full circle with the website, which, when done right, serves as any brand’s mothership. We completed the brand assets using creative coding with WebGL, incorporating numerous dots symbolizing the formation of new words—a direct metaphor for the product’s blockchain building blocks—and a 3D variation representing existing worlds, a universe among multiverses.
The complementary colors are intentionally subdued pastels to let the M× Mint shine, and we’ve included engaging details in the scroll narrative to keep you intrigued. Shake it! Shake it (the tags)!
The blog section showcases the design system most prominently and chronicles everything that has happened with M× since its inception in 2022. The current website is a variation of the design system, now fully under the team’s control.
Daym! Over and out. Looks like we’ve got more X’s here than on a treasure map to the galaxy!
Büro has not only met but has surpassed our expectations to the power of X. The MultiversX brand distinguishes us as vibrant, inspiring, and dynamic—qualities that very few crypto brands can claim for both their product and brand. Büro has been with us since the inception of naming, guiding us through a design system delivery that we can now effortlessly extend to new worlds. 100%
