Talent protocol is a Web3 startup from Portugal that is hunting to provide the future internet with a descentralized model of your professional persona: unique and trustful and was not happy with their brand and wanted so much more. Over just a few weeks we tackled a vibrant brand and design system that could support the uniqueness of each persona, adding a layer of a customizable icon builder. The rebranding immersion created one of our personal favourites branding system we delivered and had legs to endure a few years but web3 uses every season to tumble things into something new, so check you need to check where they are stand now.

You are what you use as your mugshot—that’s the concept behind Talent Protocol's identity, centered on individual personas. The "tp" connection hints at an ASCII-style figure, with the idea to offer a diverse range of emoticons, allowing users to build their own avatar to reflect their online identity. Alongside each person’s $token, users can choose their ID color palette and customize an icon that shifts to represent their face. Imagine a future LinkedIn profile where your photo, token, and personal icon branding seamlessly coexist with a dash of motion graphics to keep it interesting.
Design System
The design system uses interconnected shapes to create a seamless flow and sense of connection throughout the interface. These shapes help organize the content intuitively, guiding users smoothly from one section to the next without feeling overwhelming. The rounded forms give the design a friendly, approachable feel while maintaining structure, clarity, and a unique touch with the color palettes and $tokenization.
Balancing the personal with the professional, the system integrates key elements like the user’s name, token symbol, and photo into a cohesive layout. It's simple yet effective, emphasizing the user's personal identity while also reinforcing the Talent Protocol brand.
Motion graphics further elevate the experience, highlighting each persona's hierarchy and tone of voice. Whether you're a goth, a crypto enthusiast, or an entrepreneur, the system adapts to any identity, making it versatile and user-centric.
